Welcome! I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist who believes in providing a supportive and educational approach to counseling. My goal is to create a safe, empathetic, and respectful space for all clients to explore their challenges and work toward meaningful change.
Therapeutic Approach
I draw from evidenced-based practices such as Person-Centered, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Somatic based techniques as well as Strength-Based theories to guide my work. These approaches allow me to tailor the counseling experience to your unique needs, focusing on your strengths, goals, and personal growth.
What to Expect in Counseling
I believe that effective counseling is a collaborative effort. Together, we will set meaningful goals, assess progress, and work both in session and outside of session to achieve the changes you seek. While some progress may feel immediate, lasting change often requires deliberate and repeated efforts, and I will support you through every step of the journey.
Navigating Challenges
Counseling can sometimes bring up difficult emotions such as sadness, guilt, anxiety, and/or frustration as we address unpleasant aspects of your life. These feelings, while challenging, are part of the process of gaining insight, developing coping skills, and making meaningful changes. Ultimately, the goal is to help you navigate life’s daily activities with greater positivity and resilience.
