Hi there!
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but it’s also a courageous and meaningful decision rooted in self-compassion. It’s a recognition of your strength and your desire for growth, healing, and change.
I’m Satonya “T” Hill-Stewart, and my goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel empowered to explore your challenges, heal from past wounds, and build a fulfilling, meaningful life.
Therapy is not a “one-size-fits-all” experience. Every person is unique, autonomous, and complex. My approach is tailored to your individual needs and goals, incorporating strengths-based, trauma-informed, and relational techniques. I believe everyone has the capacity for growth and resilience, and I’m here to help you access those inner resources.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCAS-A). I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and completed the Joint Master of Social Work program at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
I am passionate about working with various populations, helping them uncover the root causes of their challenges, and equipping them with the tools to thrive. My therapeutic practice incorporates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Narrative Therapy.
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy reading, working out, immersing myself in diverse cultures, traveling, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
Whether you’re seeking support for stress management, overcoming trauma, or achieving personal growth, I’m here to walk alongside you on this journey. Together, we can work toward creating a life where you feel empowered, resilient, and whole.
“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you go; they merely determine where you start.” – Nido Qubein
