Hello!  I work with clients who are experiencing emotional distress or trouble with daily functioning due to depression, anxiety, trauma, or grief and loss. I also work with clients who are struggling with significant life transitions or attachment issues.  I've had extensive training on childhood trauma, its root causes, the implications as we move into adulthood, and the best interventions for treatment.  While I have an affinity for working with adolescents and young adults, my experience lies in counseling people of all ages who are dealing with a variety of challenging life circumstances. I'll meet you where you are with empathy and compassion, and together we'll build a therapeutic, trusting relationship and create a safe space for you to process difficult issues.

I use a person-centered and person-in-environment approach with my clients. This includes various treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, Attachment Theory, Radical Acceptance, and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) to help clients understand, challenge and change negative core beliefs, unhealthy thought patterns and maladaptive behaviors.
