Children, Adolescents, Adults, and Family Therapist
I believe that counseling is a relationship between the client and therapist where the therapist assists the client to use their strengths to overcome any situation they may be facing. I attempt to meet you, the client, where you are, as well as aid when needed to succeed in choices that you have made for yourself.
I utilize many techniques to include person centered, cognitive behavioral (CBT) to include Trauma Focused – CBT, and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). All of these evidence-based techniques encourage growth for those struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, social skills, adjustment, and trauma.
I am passionate about helping children and families work together to promote positive change, develop helpful coping techniques and nurturing relationships that foster growth. I also enjoy and have experience working with the special needs populations and adapting therapeutic techniques to include individual accommodations.
If you are in need of assistance with any of these concerns, please reach out for help to achieve your happiness and future life goals.
