The current world we live in is so stressful. Demands are continuously asked of us from work, school, family, and friends. It’s hard to keep up! Having a place to land with a nonjudgmental, caring ear can help. If you struggle with daily overwhelm, anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, or family/relationship conflict, I would love to connect.

I currently provide outpatient care for families and individuals at Forsyth Family Counseling in Asheville, where I specialize in providing trauma-informed, person-centered care. I utilize a family systems approach to get a better understanding of family dynamics, the root of conflict, and needs for communication. Before entering the world of therapy, I was an elementary public school teacher for many years and I have seen firsthand the importance of family therapy. I am here to help families stop generational trauma and provide parents with the skills and support needed to do this very difficult job.

  

I work to provide an authentic, warm, and collaborative space to find what works best for each client and family. Each person is unique, so the counseling experience should be as well. I truly believe that each person has all the answers they need inside of them, but often the stress of life can distract us.
