A Look at Our Practice

Lynn and Harry Lerner started the practice in 2013 with a vision to meet a need that had too long been overlooked.  Forsyth Family Counseling’s underpinnings are in repairing and fostering healthy attachments.  One therapist will often work within the family system, individually seeing family members to gain greater understanding and treat any individual barrier to emotional health.  We only have control over ourselves; by working with multiple members of the “system” we help our clients make great change that is fulfilling and life changing.  

Unlike most other medical professions, in psychotherapy the patient's physical environment has a significant impact on the healing process. Forsyth Family Counseling understands the importance of providing patients with a warm, friendly and familiar atmosphere.

Our Winston-Salem and Asheville offices are relaxed and comfortable, which is exactly how we want our clients to feel.
