Welcome ! My name is Queneisha (Queen - ee- sha) and I’m happy to meet you at this phase in your life journey. Therapy has its stigma but it is exactly what we make it. My goals as a clinician are to create a safe space for you to share and grow as well as support you in attaining your personal goals. I recognize the importance of cultural understanding, traumatic experiences, and childhood upbringing on daily life interactions.
I consider myself personable, warm, and honest. I am sure to connect beyond the surface with the understanding that we are more than meets the eye. Therefore, my therapeutic approach considers how the mind, body, and spirit work as one for healing and personal evolution. I will empathically encourage you through reflection and exploration of new support strategies. Consider this: Who do you want to be? What is stopping you? What do you need to make the difference?
I am a passionate advocate for children and their families who encourages resilience through problem solving. My professional experience includes working with individuals across the developmental lifespan. I utilized strength-based, person-centered, trauma-focused methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, Attachment Based Therapy. Child based therapy practices include play and sandtray therapy. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate (LCSWA). I received a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the College of New Jersey and Master’s of Social Work at Rutgers University.
Fun Fact: I do not eat ketchup or most other condiments but I love REAL pizza (as a NJ native, I know the difference).
