Sarah Daniels, MS, MA, LMFTA, NBC-HWC

Hi, I’m Sarah (she/her) — a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist associate here to support you through seasons of change, loss, and self-discovery.

I work with children, teens, adults, families, and couples navigating anxiety, grief, identity shifts, relationship conflict, and major life transitions. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, therapy can offer a space to reflect, reconnect, and move forward with greater clarity and care.

My approach is attachment-focused and trauma-informed. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), narrative and experiential therapy, mindfulness, and evidence-based tools like DBT (Dialectic Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), and the Gottman Method. I also offer somatic and nature-based sessions as a Certified Forest Therapy Guide.

I have a special passion for working with relationship dynamics of all kinds to help you and your loved ones improve connection and communication, LGBTQIA+ clients, and folks navigating grief, trauma, or major transitions.

I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and a graduate certificate in Systemic Multicultural Counseling from Appalachian State University, my associate Marriage and Family Therapy license (AMFT), certification as a Forest Therapy Guide, and national board certification in health and wellness coaching (NBC-HWC).

Outside the therapy room, you are likely to find me playing trivia or board games, reading, wishing it was Halloween, or snuggling with one of my many animals.  I believe everyone is already whole, even in moments of struggle. As an advocate for social justice and equal rights, I strive to create a space where all identities are honored and all voices are valued.

If it sounds like we might be a good fit, please reach out via email or give me a call.  You don’t have to do it alone. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
