Hey there. I’m Diamond, a friendly, down-to-earth therapist and a proud M.A. graduate of Northwestern University. Yep, the Wildcats taught me a thing or two about life, and now I’m here to share that wisdom with you!
Being a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate means I am your go-to person for navigating the world of mental health. I specialize in anxiety, depression, relationship/attachment issues, mood disorders and trauma in all ages. I also am experienced in play therapy for children, couples counseling, and anger management therapy.
Within session, we will craft a therapeutic approach that is truly unique to your experiences and situation. I like to combine elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic principles. Having a blend of evidenced-based theories helps us form a unique plan to help explore the depths of your experiences, thoughts, and emotions. Within the therapeutic space, we will aim for personal growth and unveil patterns that may influence your present experiences within yourself, your loved one or your family.
I earned my B.S. in Human Development with a concentration in Counseling Psychology at University at Albany (SUNY Albany) in New York, my home state! Some of my hobbies include cozy gaming, traveling, DIY projects, and reading!
