Hello, I believe everyone needs a support network. I would love to be a part of your support team. Together we can explore your personal coping strategies, goals, and relationships. I have experience supporting adolescents, adults, individuals, couples, and families with anxiety, major/minor life transitions, communication/mediation, executive functioning, and much more. Some of the evidence-based techniques I like to incorporate into supporting clients are: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. A few of the interventions I like to utilize in conjunction with therapy are mindfulness, visualization, and journaling.
I earned my B.A. in Liberal Arts from the University of South Carolina and my Master of Arts in Counseling from Wake Forest University. I have been a school counselor for seven years. I am a lifelong learner and look forward to continuing to develop more skills to utilize as supports in my approach to therapy.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and pugs, meditating, listening to music (live or recorded), traveling, reading, and tie dyeing. I look forward to building a connection with you!
