My name is Brunella Ramirez and thank you for taking the time to read over my profile to see if I am the right fit! I am a Bilingual (Spanish and English) Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate that earned my master’s degree from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I aim to utilize a very compassionate and nurturing approach in my sessions and go deep in the relationship between action and reaction while utilizing several evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Therapy, etc.

I am very committed to provide the necessary help to improve the lives of those affected by mental health. My office will be a non-judging, understanding and safe environment that will allow us to open up and develop the ability to adjust to what life may have thrown at us. I am a firm believer of meeting the client where they are to find the right treatment and provide them with the necessary tools to heal and be able to move forward. I believe that everyone is capable of changing regardless of what has taken place in the past. The most important thing here is that YOU find the right therapist to help and guide you, and I will be more than happy to be it and walk you through your healing path. Having gone through certain experiences myself, I know what it's like to feel like the world is caving in but just know that, together we will overcome the struggles and find the strength to live your best life.

I fully acknowledge that every individual’s experiences, needs, and goals are different but session after session you will come to realize that there are safe ways to cope with what you are going through at the moment. I will be able to provide you with different coping mechanisms/skills due to physical and emotional abuse, trauma, depression, relationships, anxiety, and identity/self-esteem issues.

We can meet in person and have virtual sessions as well. I will be more than happy to jointly align on a schedule to maximize your results and get the best positive outcome!
