Children, Adolescents, Adults, Couples, and Family Therapist
Starting early February 2022
When it comes to counseling one of the most courageous actions one may take is moving forward towards growth, healing, and acceptance of one's life challenges. I believe that therapy is where one may be able to flourish and create a new path towards achieving life goals. Whether the struggles are currently present or have occurred in the past it is the current movement and strength that will ultimately create a new chapter towards positivity and growth. If given the opportunity to work with you as your counselor I believe that you are the expert in your life. I am here to provide the support you may need within your journey.
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Roanoke College in 2019 and my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2021. My theoretical orientation is geared towards Humanistic theory while utilizing a person-centered therapy approach in my sessions. This means our sessions will be focused on working together as a team in order to create meaningful goals that will be beneficial towards your personal growth. In our sessions together I make it a priority to create a comfortable and safe environment for you to express yourself and finally be heard. I do not discriminate on race, gender, sex, age, religion, or sexuality but embrace those factors about yourself. I have worked with a range of ages and presented concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and more. I am hopeful that we will be able to create an environment that will be best suited for your growth and overall well-being.
I look forward to meeting and working with you.
