Catherine Warner, MSW, LCSWA

Adolescents, Adults, Couples, Families, and Perinatal Mental Health Therapist

My name is Catherine and I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you and your family as your therapist!  I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I believe in a person-centered approach, meaning I understand that each person has their own unique experiences and strengths that influence how we perceive and interact with the world around us. I believe every person deserves to be heard and to feel validated, therefore my goals as a therapist is to create a safe, non-judgmentalspace for my clients to express themselves and utilize the strengths and skills already within themselves.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, I received my Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020. I am currently working toward receiving my Perinatal Mental Health Certification through Postpartum Support International. During sessions, I utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), family systems therapy, and motivational interviewing (MI). I have provided support to numerous individuals and families, within outpatient and medical settings, navigating a range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, OCD, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, changes in family dynamics, and more.

I have a strong passion helping individuals, couples, and families (of all shapes and sizes) transition through the life stages of conception, pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, or loss. I work to meet clients where they are and together navigate life’s challenges while continuing and to learn, grow, and heal. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or if you are interested in working together. I would be honored to walk with you throughout this next step of healing!
